Difficult Situations

When I am going through hardships from the outside of myself, I often ask my Kundalini why is this happening? What are you trying to show me about myself? Because tests and situations will always be put before us to see how we will react to different stimulus. When we react in a negative manner or in a way that is harmful to ourselves and/or others what we really need to be focusing on is ourselves. It does not matter how wrong you feel the behavior of the other people around you is because it may in fact be very bad behavior and in a lot of ways is showing you perhaps how not to conduct yourself. How you do not want to be. But it is also showing us about ourselves and giving us a chance to react from a place of unconditional love and service and to rise above the current situation as well as teach you in the way that you react to certain situations, things that you did not know you were still holding on to or harboring resentments towards etc. Or showing you a part of yourself that has that same tendency and still needs refinement.

What then happens is you can take a difficult situation that is put before you time and time again and turn it around and not react with anger or posturing of any kind. When I can be who I am meant to be and not let it drag me downwards in a spiral of certain patterns of behavior that I may have once done, it shows me that inner growth is always possible. Then the high road is always the preferable road and that feeling hurt is not necessary in these situations. I can remain happy and positive and be that shining light even in situations where it feels like I am being torn down or made to feel a certain way. I then am forced to look at myself first and foremost so that I can stop, gather myself together and move forward in love and forgiveness. If the Kundalini within me finds it necessary to stand up and be strong for myself in these situations and or leave the situation that is occurring that is also ok, as long as I am true to myself and the divine agenda within me. It asks that I trust the kundalini and surrender even when it calls me to a place of discomfort in an area that I feel out of my comfort zone. Sometimes the kundalini within us asks of us to rise up to the challenge and face it head on regardless of how our ego wants to retreat and hide.
